Practice makes perfect

I’m not sure what is going on, but over the last couple of days things are getting more uncomfortable here in mommy’s belly. I think they are called practice contractions, but whatever they are, I’m not a big fan. I’ll just be sitting here, minding my own business, when all of the sudden I feel like I’m being juiced. (If this keeps up, I just may leave this place soon.)

I guess everyone wants me to arrive early. And most of my blog readers seem to think I will either arrive early or right on time, judging by the poll on the right. If I take after daddy, I’m sure I will be early or on time. If I take after mommy, I’ll arrive sometime in May.

Christmas "wrap" up

Yesterday was my first Christmas, and it was great. First off, I spent the whole day in my mommy's belly, so I avoided the cold weather. Also, I was given a Buzz Lightyear mini-chair for my room.

But Christmas isn't all about getting. It is also about giving. So, in the spirit of Christmas, I gave my mommy a few kicks, swollen feet and indigestion. (No refunds!)

But, in the near future, I'll give her something even better. Once I'm born, I'll look up at her and give her my first smile.

And although mommy probably didn't enjoy my gifts, I think she loved the gift from daddy:

Hello, my name is Casey Michael King, and this is my blog. Here I will be posting the latest happenings from my world (including my upcoming birth- sure to be interesting!), as well as my latest photos and such.

The doctors say I am due around January 20th-22nd, 2009. Daddy is hoping that I come on his birthday, January 20th, while mommy wants me to come as soon as possible. (Just because I'm using her bladder as a punching bag.) I put a poll up to the right for all of my blog readers to guess when I will arrive.
